This has been such a different Thanksgiving for me. It being my first one away from my family. But it has made me even more grateful for the wonderful family God gave me and all the great Thanksgivings we spent together. :)

What's Been Going On...

This week is another round of exams so the kids have been studying a lot...

Here are two new bugs I have gotten to see!  :)

This was a moth I just happened to see.  It was really big.  Don't you just love the markings?!

 

And this was REALLY cool! One of the boys found this, and they have found out that I love bugs, so they showed it to me before going and terrorizing the girls with it!  ;D

It is like our walking sticks but it looked exactly like a LONG blade of grass!  I thought it was awesome looking.

After the Fancy Dress Competiton was the Singing Competition.  I was actually asked to be one of the judges!  I reluctantly said yes.  All the kids did REALLY well!  I tried not to be partial.  ;)

Children's Day....

Yesterday was Children's Day here in India.  The kids had a special program at their school so I went to take pictures and watch them!

They had a Singing and Fancy Dress competition.  I have quite a few pictures so it will take a few days to post them all but I hope you enjoy.

A Fancy Dress competition is were they will dress up and act out a person or type of person for the judges to try to guess who they are.  It was very interesting to watch.

This is a boy in one of the kids class that dressed like I think it was the founder of India.

This is a lizard that was crossing the sidewalk.  When we got close to take a picture it ran REALLY fast.
