4 Square & Peacock

Last week I taught the kids 4 square and they LOVE it!  It is their new favorite thing to play.  We played for like 2 hours this morning and I got a bad sun burn but it was fun and they are getting very good.  :)

 

 

I got a real treat Sat....  There was a peacock out back that opened his feathers!  That was the first time I have ever seen that!  It was soooo neat!  Sorry the picture isn't very clear but we couldn't get very close or it would have scared off.  The peacock is India's national bird for those of you who didn't know.

Hindu Temple

 

I went to Banglor last week and I rode in a Rickshaw for the first time!  It was very exciting and a little scary!  They go so fast a so close to on coming traffic!  Actually while we were riding in it he hit a vehicle and his right mirror fell off!  Right there in the road and he didn't even pick it up!  Just went on like nothing happened!  :D

 

 

I'm Back!

Sorry I have been so long since I have posted!  The internet has not been working.  :(

But it is working now!!!!  :D

I found a really neat recipe on Pinterest for sidewalk paint!  It is soooo easy and the kids REALLY liked it!  All it is is equal parts water and cornstarch and some food coloring!  You all will have to give it a try!

Ice Cream Outing...

Last week they took the kids out for ice cream!  And I got to go along!

 Here is everyone on the bus.

 

 

The ice cream was soooooo good!  Nice and cold!  :)

 

Then they got them something that is called a Puff.  It is phyillo dough and in the middle is boiled egg, spices and veggies.  I know it sounds really weird but it was actually really good!

 

And the last stop was the park.  It was a fun trip and the kids really enjoyed getting out on their holiday.

Little Zoo

The other day I showed the kids how to make little houses and towns in the dirt.  (A fun past time of mine.)  And they had a fun time doing it!

Then they took some of the animals I brought and made a Zoo!

Didn't they do a great job?!

 

Playing in the Dirt

There have been loads of dirt here dropped off lately for covering the gardens and ground.

So like normal kids they enjoyed a day of play on them!  :D 

 

 

And after a small amount of persuading I joined in.  ;)

What I've Been Up To...

The kids have been on holiday so I have been busy trying to keep them busy!  ;D
